Asian style ~ Fettucine with chicken

I tried this for dinner a few days ago and I was amazed at how it turned out ! I used Fettucine and asian ingredients to come up with this asian pasta !! It hardly took 15mins of my time and was yummmyyyy !

You’ll need :

4 tsps of sesame seeds (dry roasted)

5 tsps of light soy sauce

2 tsps tobasco/ hot sauce

2 tsps of white vinegar

4 dollops of peanut butter

1/2 inch crushed ginger

4 cloves of garlic

250 grams of cooked chicken shreds (I made them myself in this recipe)

Olive oil/ sesame oil

4 little balls of fettucine pasta

Spring onions

Prep :

1. Boil your pasta as per the instructions given on the cover. My fettucine needed 9 mins of cooking time. Add salt while boiling your pasta. Add it…even if it is excess, not harmful !

2. In a hand blender, add – > 3 tsps of sesame seeds + soy sauce + white vinegar + ginger + garlic + peanut butter + hot sauce + 3tsps of sesame oil / olive oil. Blitz it for a minute and you get the shiny lustrous yummy sauce base for your asian pasta.

3. For the chicken, I mixed some kashmiri mirch (it gives nice red color but it has absolutely no fire in it..) salt and some all purpose seasoning and stir fried them in a hot non stick pan. Anyway, if you are lazy for this, you can always bring some chicken shreds !

4. Mix in the sauce, fettucine, chicken shreds..saute it at a high flame..sprinkle some spring onion and sesame seeds !

So here is the yummy asian influenced fettucine !! 🙂

Enjoy !
