Chicken and Vegetable Chopsuey..

As I have posted a vegetable chopsuey, I wanted to follow it up with a non-vegetarian version !

One can always customize a chopsuey ! Here, I used can also use bacon for some extra burst of flavors !

You’ll need:

1 carrot, shred and finely chopped

1 capsicum or green pepper, finely chopped

A bunch of Spring onions and shallots, chopped

200gms of Chicken or bacon..or both..coarsely minced

A sprinkle of oregano

Half a bunch chopped coriander, chopped

5 tsp of tomato sauce

2 tsp of hot sauce or chilli sauce

1 tsp of soy sauce

1 tsp red wine vinegar or any vinegar


3 cloves of garlic, chopped

A sprinkle of pepper.

Olive oil (If you prefer it creamy, add a touch of butter)

1tsp red chilli flakes

1/2 tsp sugar

1 tsp cornflour

How to make it?

1. Deep fry the raw noodles in oil and keep them aside.

2. In a greased non-stick pan, add some chopped garlic, chilli flakes and chicken.

3. Follow it up with all the vegetables and saute for 5 min till they tenderise.

4. Mix all the sauces, along with sugar, coriander and some water. Add it to the vegetables and chicken on pan.

5. To this, add diluted cornflour (in water) to thicken and lighten the color of the mixture.

6. Sprinkle some pepper if you would like and check all other seasonings.

7. Pour the mixture over the fried noodles and its ready to serve !

Be careful while eating ! It’s gonna be real hot ! 🙂
