Vegetable Manchurian !

Now, who doesn’t like having noodles or fried rice with veg manchuria??!!! Instead of going to a restaurant and having it, you can very well make it at home and enjoy it lazying on your couch and may be watching tv πŸ˜‰ you can serve it up when you have guests during the munch time !!

You ll need,

Beans 30-50gms

2 Green peppers or capsicum

100gms carrot

100gms cabbage

50gms cauliflower

2 strands of celery

3 – 4 tsp of chilli paste

3 green chillies slit

Boiled rice 1 small cup

2tsp chopped garlic

1 tsp ajinomoto or tasting salt (optional)

3 tsp corn flour

1 tsp chopped ginger

1 tsp oil to fry

2 onions cut as julians

2tsp pepper

1 tsp cumin

salt

2 tsp sesame oil

3-4 tsps soya sauce

1 spring onion

3 pinches sugar

curry leaves or coriander

3 tsp sweet and sour sauce

Preparation :

  1. Boil /steam finely chopped minced vegetables and bind with some corn flour and rice and make small lumps the size of a table tennis ball.
  2. Roll in corn flour and deep fry
  3. Make sauce – add cumin ,2 tbsp chopped garlic ,1 tbs chopped ginger and chopped onion, curry leaves to a pan with hot oil
  4. To it, add soya sauce,pepper,chilli paste,spring onion ,ajinamoto, sweet sauce or sugar and cook
  5. Thicken with cornflour mixture adding very little at a time
  6. Add fried manchurian balls.

Make sure boiled rice is very soft n smooth. And adjust the consistency as per your need πŸ™‚ You can serve this with fried rice or noodles !
